IMPORTANT FACT ABOUT AFRICA

When talking of AFRICA, you should be talking of CULTURE, HERITAGE, PRIDE, TOURIST, HISTORY, NATURE AND LOT MORE.

Following the uniqueness of the continent, am going to digress to some amazing fact about AFRICA.

1. Africa is the second largest continent in the world after Asia. It is the second largest in terms of land mass and population.

2. Africa was once joined to another continent called the PANGAEA. Over millions of years, this great continent broke apart, shaping the world great landscape as we all know it today, to what is knows as continental drift.

3. Hippos kills more people in Africa than lion.

4. It is the home of human species. Early humans migrated from Africa to Asia.

1. The lowest point in Africa is lake Assal. The level of saltiness in the lake is so high becoming 10times more concentrated than that of sea. The lake is located in DJIBOUTI.

2. Africa is the only continent that produces two noble prize winner in same street. The two noble prize winners are from South Africa. Nelson Mandela and Archbishop Desmond Tutu has house in same street of Vilakazi in South Arica.
   

3. World civilization started in Africa, Egypt to be precise.

4. The world largest desert is in Afrika, which is the SAHARA Desert.

5. it has over 1500 languages.

6. It is a home to about 1 billion people.

7. It has 54 countries.

It can been seen that Africa is truly a blessed continent.
