Chibok yesterday, Dapachi today, tomorrow who knows where?

A lot has transpired in the Northeastern part of Nigeria over the past decade between the notorious terror group Boko-haram and the Army and the dwellers of the area (primarily Hausa/Fulani) with tens of thousands killed and millions displaced from their homes and livelihood.
The world today is well aware of the era of terrorism and the perils that accompany such savagery.

Quite sad I must say that in the this age, people still are very much driven by biased, sentimental, and ignoramus beliefs to the extent of taking up arms against the defenceless just to prove a point.
Suddenly, the world is no longer safe , we are made prisoners in our land, always on the look out for the next "strike", the words "trust or safety" is a luxury risk because our neighborhood has been invaded by wolfs in sheep's clothing.

The sacredness of life is now a joke (a cow has more chance at life than a human being) , the blood of the innocent soaks every inch of the land, we are overwhelmed by such great despair and pain.
I'm suppose to make a poem or go poetic about how I feel right now, but I'll just stick with what I can flow easily with, so bare with me.

So the April of 2014 was marred with tears of some parents of over 200 female student abducted from their classes and dormitories by armed terrorist who hurled them away into the thickness of sambasi forest. A day still unforgotten to some, I really thought some lessons were learnt, I really hoped it never occurred again.
In the wake of a "technical defeat " and in the hope of recovering what was lost including the remaining hundred girls, we are yet reminded of our ineptitude, we taught we knew but we couldn't be more wrong!
With another mass abduction happening in Dapachi (Yobe State) its even clearer the need to go back to the drawing boards.
The subject matter of security should never be handled with laxity, cover stories and media suppressants, lies won't help!
As a Nigerian, I'm perturbed and I hope this ranting gives someone something to think about.

Cause there is a lot to be done and it involves everyone.
