I like your second point..... I once read "you can be right but wrong at the top of your voice"

As regard the apology, I don't think you should apologize all the time.... I mean sometimes, it's a way of you saying.... I respect you and I equally respect myself. So if you're trying to override my self respect, I definitely won't apologize for that.
