Episode 122 - 123
At Samrat’s residence, Tauji tells Urmi that the problem is with her. Urmi says that she does not think it's wrong, and that if she doesn't take care of her family, who will. Tauji asks her to continue then, with the insults, and reminds her about the importance of her in the house, and that if she considers it true, then Samrat won't even think twice about insulting her. Tauji says that one who can't respect herself, shouldn't expect it from others, and should think that insult is in her destiny, as her philosophy claims that she should keep doing, whether anyone likes it or not. Tauji asks how would anyone care for her, when she doesn't care for herself. He leaves, while Urmi is still thinking. He asks her to think deep about how she can make them care for her, and how would they realise her importance. Saying so, he leaves, while Urmi is tensed as Tauji decide to make Samrat realize the importance of ( her ) Urmi's presence in the house.
Shashi tells Aditi not to be involved in work, as she is the daughter of this house, and should just relax, and let Urmi do all the work along with Kanchan. Tauji calls up Urmi, who’s working frantically in the kitchen. She picks it up, and Tauji just places the call, and makes Urmi listen to what her mother-in-law has to say to her and hear what Shashi is advising Aditi about not helping Urmi at all. She asks Aditi to give an excuse that she has a headache while she has a sprain in the waist. Tauji asks what would samrat think if he finds out about this. Shashi says that she doesn't have any guts and won't say anything to Samrat. Aditi tries to protest, but Shashi shuts her down. Shashi, in order to win favour from Tauji, says that she would get the work done by Urmi, or else she would be living free here. Urmi is distraught and appalled to hear this, as tears stream down her cheeks.
In her room, Urmi remembers the insults given by Samrat and Shashi, and Tauji’s advise about it. Tauji comes in asking that she is still here. He comments on having a strong heart, that she heard everything and still is standing here, and asks if her self respect isn't affected at all, or if there is not any. He says that he thought that she would be gone by now. Urmi surprisingly asks how can she go to her house, as that won't be right, and what would Samrat do, and how would he entertain the guests. Tauji says that he would say that there’s no wife, but a servant who has gone to work in the other house. Urmi is hurt by this. Garjan ( Tauji ) convinces Urmi to leave the house so that all the other family members, especially Shashi, do all the work for once. He adds that to treat anything the medicine given is bitter, but that doesn't mean that the doctor is enemy to the patient. He says that to accomplish the mission, she would have to do things, that arent right to her heart and conscience, but they are actually right, as desperate times need desperate measures. He asks her to move ahead not to compromise but to maintain the identity of her self respecxt. An upset Urmi understands and wipes off her tears, and decides to teach her mother-in-law a lesson and fight for herself. She asks that she would need his blessings to take such a big step. She bends to touch his feet, and he blesses her. He leaves wishing her the best of luck.
At Anu’s residence, Granny Gayatri refuses to eat food, while Saroj asks her to stop all this. Granny says that she won't eat, till Gaurav doesn't say yes to the marriage. Saroj says that her condition would worsen. But Granny is defiant and says that she won't eat, as they don't get matches like this everyday. Saroj resignedly sits down.
At Samrat’s office, while Samrat is attending to business calls, Amrit comes in with a sample of silver plate and after he confirms it, Amrit talks about the other preparations. Amrit says that he is concerned for the house formalities. Meanwhile, Samrat who is depending completely on Urmi to have a great dinner for his guests and asks him to be carefree, as he doesn't need to take care of the house, and concentrate on the work in the office. He says that Urmi would take care of everything, and would go to any lengths to get everything correct and precise. He tells her that for a man’s happiness, his wife can do anything, and right now his happiness means utmost to Urmi, and she knows that she can't afford to make a mistake, as he doesn't leave any room for it at all. He expresses his supreme faith in Urmi. Amrit hears intently.
At Samrat’s residence, finding them all working, Shashi comes in after having practised, and says that she has a terrible sprain. Aditi finds it frustrating while she tries to get her way out of the immense work. Meanwhile, Shashi pretends about having a terrible backache, and laments as to how the feast should be prepared, as had she been okay she would have done everything. She tells that it's their good luck that Urmi is here to take care of everything. Urmi eyes Tauji and goes ahead, when he gives her the signal. With Tauji's blessings, Urmi decides to take a step against her mother-in-law. She decides to go to her parent's house leaving all the preparations for the important dinner in the hands of her mother-in-law without minding what Samrat's reaction will be when he learns about her leaving the house at the crucial hour and says that she has to go to her house, as gaurav is getting remarried and she needs some shopping Finalisations to be done. Shashi is shocked and asks what about the work here. Urmi is tensed. Shashi asks how can she go, when there’s so much work here and asks who would take care here, for the humongous task here, as the respect is at stake. In horror, Shashi forgets about her sprain, and Kanchan instantly points it out to her. Shashi covers it up somehow, while Kanchan says that she is very happy that she is fine now. Shashi asks Urmi who would take care of it now, as important guests are coming. Urmi says that she would come soon, and they can manage till then. Kanchan gives her consent to go. Shashi angers up, but Kanchan traps her into thinking that she makes food best, and hence she should prepare the entire feast. Urmi and Tauji smirk at Shashi’s helpless condition. Shashi still says that she is in terrible pain. But Kanchan tells her that she can do things that don't need her to stand, like cutting vegetables. Kanchan and Aditi are discussing with her, when they find Urmi coming down, dressed and with a purse. Shashi is shocked and asks where is she going, when there’s so much work in the house. Urmi says that the work would be done here without her being there, as she isn't that important, as she has been told so many times. She says that therefore, her going there is very essential. Shashi is shocked to hear this. Shashi wonders how to stop her, and then plays the Shaurya card, and asks if she won't take him too. Urmi is tensed what to asnwer now. Urmi says that Shaurya is sleeping, and won't wake up for a long time, and as it is, they have told that her house is very small, but his house is very big, and hence there shouldn't be a problem for him to be playing here. Shashi is speechless and wonders what to say now. Tauji signals Urmi to be quiet and leave. Kanchan agrees while Shashi is tensed. Tauji smiles at this and is super happy. After she is gone, Shashi laments at the situation she is in, as Aditi says that she shouldn't have been after Urmi in the first place as it totally backfired, as Samrat wanted everything perfect and that if anything goes wrong, it's completely Shashi’s responsibility. Tauji from the balcony thinks that when she returns now, Urmi would come back with a piece of her self respect.
Anu’s residence, Urmi comes in unannounced and happily surprised her father and others in the family, as she comes and hugs him. They all wonder how’s she here suddenly. Devi asks if she’s alone. She says yes. Saroj asks if everything is alright. She says that it's all fine and asks about her instead. Anushka and Granny too are happy to see her. Urmi says that she assures everyone all is fine and that this is a casual visit. Urmi's mother begins to question why Urmi came to visit them out of the blue and asks why didn't she call before. Urmi is asked about Shaurya. Urmi says that he is at home. Saroj asks why she left him, as he can't stay without her. Urmi says that he’s old enough now to stay without him, and that he must be playing with Mandira. She asks Anu to get a glass of water, and Anu complies. Saroj is still a little boggled, while Urmi asks her to give her something to eat. Saroj thinks that she never comes without Shaurya then what happened today.
At Samrat’s residence, After Urmi has left Samrat's home and gone to her house, it turns out that nobody could take responsibility of the house. Mandira and Shaurya go out of control and create havoc in the house. Shashi too has a hard time, doing all the preparations for the feast, while the children too drive her crazy, throwing away things and unsettling the house as the house is completely untidy. Tauji comments Shashi that it's a bad day for her today, as she had planned to frets, but is knee deep in work today. Tauji instigates Shaurya to go and ask for water, while Shashi is knee deep in preparation. Shashi comments that his grandmother is not a servant. Shaurya asks her to give him water and not to lecture him. Shashi is shocked. Tauji comments that Samrat has prepared a wonderful kid. She directs him to the water. Tauji winks at Shaurya, and then asks him to do something naughty. Shaurya complies, and throws the water on the sofa, wetting it. Tauji is amused while Shashi is shocked. She angrily takes away the bottle, and begins to reprimand him. He asks her not to scold him or else he would get her scolded by Samrat. Shashi is shocked. Aditi asks her not to worry as she would get it dry and asks Mukti to get the dryer. Just then, the phone rings and Shaurya hurries to get it. She finds that it's Urmi. Urmi overhears the children creating a scene, and Aditi and Shahsi reprimanding him badly. Tauji asks her to be calm, as she supposedly had pain in the waist. Urmi is amused, while Shashi is flabbergasted. Shashi pretends to be in pain and wonders why is Urmi calling, having trapped her. She demands for the phone, while Shaurya says that he is talking to his mother. Urmi smiles. Shashi demands for the phone to be given. When that happens, Shashi asks why is she calling and why is she not home yet. Urmi says that she called for that only, as she would be delayed. Shashi is shocked and she starts to reprimand Urmi for being so irresponsible. Shashi asks when would they come, and Urmi devastates her by saying that it would be night till she comes, and asks her to handle there, while she takes care of the situation here. Shashi is stunned into silence and gets more shocked when she finds out that Urmi will not be returning home until night while all ask what's the matter. Urmi is amused at Shashi’s torture. Tauji asks Kanchan to find out what happened. Urmi cancels the call citing that her mother is calling. Shashi is angered and super frustrated. She looks around the entire place which is in a mess. As Urmi turns around, she is confronted by Saroj, and wonders all what Urmi did.
Meanwhile, Shashi tells everyone that she clearly said that she won't come, and won't do the work here too. They are all shocked. The kids make fun of her, that now everything is on Shashi’s shoulders. Tauji asks Mandira not to talk like that, as they would irritate Shashi to the core. All are amused while Shashi is frustrated. Shashi says that she would set Urmi straight, and would teach her a lesson for neglecting her duties. She thinks that she would tell Samrat everything, by telling her about Urmi. Tauji and Shashi’s husband are tensed. Kanchan laments that now without Urmi, no one can save her, and the party will be a ruin. Shashi begins to call Samrat. Samrat comes in with his cell phone ringing. He asks why is she calling. He is shocked to see the chaos as he find the house completely unsettled. Shashi says that there’s a big problem. Samrat says that it's evident,and asks who did all this mess, while all stand silent, and reprimand them all. Samrat begins to reprimand them all for being so callous. He asks Shaurya to get down from the sofa. He complies. Samrat asks about Urmi and starts hollering for her. When she doesn't respond, Shashi instigates him about Urmi, saying that she has gone to her parent's place and there’s a big problem. She tells him, everything, and how she trapped them all. Samrat shock later turns into anger when his mother tells him that Urmi has left the house and gone to her own house and asks why they didn't stop her. He is super angry, and Shashi too instigates her all the more, saying that Urmi didn't hear anything. Samrat says that she would be set straight and that she would come home straightaway. He begins to dial her number and is shocked when Tauji stops him. Samrat asks him to let him talk to her. Tauji asks what's he doing. He may taunt her on phone, but he would give this message that she has gone, and the work is stopped, and that she would know that without her, no work can be finished. He asks him if he wants her to be tortured or make her realise that without her, they are nothing. All are tensed, while Samrat is boggled. Tauji says that if he calls her, she would get on their heads, that she is important, and then she wouldn't let herself be overpowered. Samrat refuses and says that he is not worried about the work, but is concerned for the party. He asks Shashi if she would be able to handle everything, and Shashi has no option but to say yes. He says that he is tensed that the clients are coming with their wives, then how would he answer them. Samrat refuses to accept that he actually needs her. Samrat’s father asks what is he saying. Shashi too takes her cue and says that therefore this is better that he calls Urmi, so that she won't have to do the work. Samrat too agrees seeing the easy way out but Tauji asks him not to. Tauji tells Samrat not to worry that in the evening, he would himself get his wife when the guests arrive. Samrat is surprised.
Tauji assures Samrat that he won't let him be down in front of his clients, and asks him to instruct the ladies to get to household work. Shashi is frustrated but has no option but to say yes. Samrat starts hollering orders. Tauji eyes them introspectively. After Tauji asks the women of the house to work, he goes out to bring Urmi back. By the evening, Samrat inspects everything, and approves of everything. Kanchan and Shashi are thoroughly exhausted, when Aditi comes in saying that one dessert still hasn't been made, and Shashi asks her to be quiet lest Samrat hears and orders to be made. Aditi says that Tauji hasn't come back with Urmi yet. To instigate him, Shashi comments that she would take her own time today in coming back. Samrat says that he needs a wife today, hence she is having her tantrums, and asks his mother not to instigate him futher.
