Naija recipe: Garri (Eba)
Swallowing to some people is a mystical action, especially to our white friends out there,
Some says its a suicide attempt
But to us Nigerians and Africans at large, swallowing is the main thing, as most of our high energy given food are taken by swallowing.
Garri in your Kitchen
Garri to a typical African( especially Nigerians) is as oat or flasks to a white man
It most time the first thing one lay hands on when in an African kitchen
it can be shewed/ soaked or made into balls popularly known as Eba here in Nigeria.
Eba is a Nigerian staple food eaten all over the country and beyond. It is made from fried grated cassava flour (by-product of cassava).
Eba can be made in just five minutes from garri; it only requires water at boiling point.
When made, it it swallowed with several soups like Okro, Egusi, Afang etc.
If you've never been to Nigeria before, or you haven't swallowed or taken eba before, here is a call to you to explore one of the best food in the world,
Just holla at the nearest African grocery shop or nearest African Kitchen and make an order, i bet you, its gonna be a wonderful experience.
Have a nice time eating
