How To Mine Monero With Google VPS

First and foremost is to watch the below video on how you can create a free one year vps which you will be using to mine in the cloud even when your pc is not on…

what I did is I created 5 projects and for each of them I created 1 instance each.. you will see how to do that in the video…

And the mining app is running on them all and I leave it open and off my system and it will continue running in the cloud.

So next is for you to create a monero wallet by going to www.mymonero.com and create a wallet, And when on the site click on create a new account. When you do that you will be taking to a page top create account.

So copy the private login key, it is your login details and once you lost it your wallet cannot be recovered. Paste the private login key in the box where they ask you to confirm your private login key.

When you have done that, click on I have written down my private login key, log me in.

When you do this you will be shown you’re my monero dashboard where you can get your wallet for receiving coins. the wallet address they will give you is a combination of letters and numbers. So now copy your wallet and save on note pad. You should also save your private login key on note pad or print it out and keep it safe offline.

Next

So what is next is for you to download the mining application on which you will be mining on your vps. To do that Go to https://github.com/xmrig/xmrig/releases and Download xmrig-2.4.2-gcc-win64.zip(for 64 win)

After you are done Extract it to a folderon your system. The folder contain 3 item

So what is next, the next is for you to edit the config.json file in the folder to the correct parameter so that we can mine successfully.

So how do you do this. To edit the config.json file you will need to download fileviewer plus if you don’t already have a file viewer on your pc. You can download it here https://www.fileviewerplus.com/download

So what you need to do next is to drag the config.json file into the fileviewer plus and thn it will load the file for you to edit

So the modification is as follow

1. Put your own wallet address from mymonero as seen in the image above

2. Change the max-cpu-usage to 100.

3. Change url to pool.supportxmr.com:3333

4. Put your my monero account at the username section on the edit page
   

Then ctrl +s to save or save as on the editing app.

So what next

When this is done you can close it. Then you are ready to start mining monero. Now you have to login as you were instructed in the video and you copy the folder, open your vps and paste it there.

So when you paste the vps folder on your vps double click on xmrig and you will start mining.
