Fear and The Power to Control
Fear is one strong factor to destroy a family and has the drive to ruin a person’s home. Fear destroys things by the second and with every minute that passes by.
Fear has the power to afflict a person’s relationship every second and it is the first enemy a family can have.
Fear however is caused in a family when the family allows it. For example between a married couple, fear comes in when the husband begins to permit anger.
When the husband has anger issues and he allows it to rule over his entire emotions, then it becomes a very bad experience for the wife and even possibly the kids.
The wife becomes scared of what to say, she has no idea if the next word she might say will spring up anger in the man and make him bitter, so she acts with fear and she is very cautious about what she will say or do, when in the real sense she is supposed to be free with her husband and she should be able to tell him anything at anytime.
The kids on the other hand become very quiet whenever the husband is around and they never go too close to him to prevent any outburst of anger.
Instead of having respect for their father, all that they have is a particular amount of fear inbuilt.
I know of a young man who told me that whenever their father was not around, they will all sit with their mother in the living room, they will gist and watch the television together, sometimes they get to discuss about their favorite TV show, or how their day at school went and some other nice catching along but whenever they hear the sound of a car or a horn which means that the gate should be opened, they run to the window and they peep to see whose car it is, when they find out that it is their father’s car they all run into their rooms and lock their door leaving their mother alone in the sitting room to welcome her husband and receive whatever he comes with, which could either be a good or bad mood.
Nice post fear and anger, are two factor that can lead to family destruction, because when the wife is scared of the husband, and cannot be able to tell him on how to move the family forward that alone can lead to family destruction, and also making the children to be scared too can also lead to family destruction
