Great Minds,
Like the topic suggests, sometimes you have to be there to tell the difference. The distance, the people and the various conditions involved in the process of communication most times distort or change the real thing to something else. A green feature can be reported blue or light green when it passed through some channels.

So it is important to be there to be able to ascertain the fact. Though it is good we work with signals and act based on available information, it is important we do on the ground assessment, signals or some information can be deceiving.
This is what I mean, yesterday, we got the signal that the sea would be rough and there would be heavy downpour so much to discourage us from sailing. As a matter of fact we have notified others that we were not sailing until the last minute we changed our mind and decided to go there and see things ourselves.

To cut the story short, we are sailing and so far, the sea has been surprisingly calm and clear same with the weather. The clemency of the weather is even more amazing. We are all excited yet flabbergasted. Indeed if you look at the weather you will become poor so said an adage. There is always the need to go there and see things yourself. If you don't go you will not know.
