We All Trust More Than We Even Realize.

I have heard a lot of person say stuffs like, "I trust no one or I am never gonna trust anyone" but the truth is that we end up trusting people more than we realise. We say we can't trust our family, girlfriend, neighbours, best friends etc because people are unpredictable but little do we realise that daily we unconsciously leave our dear life in the hands of common stranger and even trust them with our life.

When you wave down a public bus or a bike, we don't ask, what if this driver is a drunk or a junk and probably high now? What if the driver just broke up with his wife and going through sh*t right now? What if the driver is still learning how to drive and probably just gonna run you off the road at the slightest mistake?? No we just wave down the bike or bus and get in, trusting that the driver will take us to our destination safely against all odds.

When you go to the restaurant, a public eatery or buy food or fruit from a hawker, you don't think, what if this this food is poisoned? What if the cook used some stupid dirty water while preparing the meal? What if the hawker is a terrorist and the fruit or food is injected with a HIV/AIDS infected blood?? No we just buy the food and consume it whole heatedly believing that everything is okay with the food or fruit.

When we are driving our own car or bike, we don't care what's happening behind us, all we focus on is what ahead. We think we are being a careful driver but don't imagine... What if the driver coming behind us isn't being a careful driver too? What if the driver coming behind us just lost control of his bike and speeding right into us uncontrollably? No we just drive nice and careful, trusting that the next driver behind us will drive carefully too and probably we all will get home safely.

All I see in the above scenarios is Trust, Trust and Trust. I, You, We all end up being careful not to trust people very close tp us, but I end up trusting just random strangers with our health and lives. We are being careful not to trust those that really deserve our trust, but we end up trusting more than we even realize.
