COMMUNICATION AS AN ADULT

The more you grow, the more you notice how complex human interaction becomes.

You begin to understand that communication isn't something basic or simple.

Chances are, people would rather dramatize how they feel, rather than talk about it.

And when they do talk, they will hardly say what they truly mean.

As you grow, you understand why we have idioms and adages.

As you grow, you understand why Jesus spoke in parables sometimes.

As you grow, you understand why Elders often speak in proverbs.

This could partly be because wise men must always FIND a way to say what needs to be said,

especially when the consequences of not saying it, outweigh the consequences of saying it.

My people will say "Ekwuro meru onu. Ekwu o ma anuro, meru nti".
