5 REASONS WHY I LOVE DRY SEASONS

The dry season is often hated by majority because of so many reasons like the cold weather, lack of water and rain fall and because of the dust. But i don't feel the same way about the dry season. As a matter of fact, i love it more than the rainny reasons and here are the reasons why.

(1) The Many Delicious Fruits

One major reason why i love the dry season is because of some of the delicious fruits that you can only see around in dry seasons. Some of the kind of fruits i am talking about include, Mangos (German, sweet, Kerosine, even the normal mangos), Cashew (Frying the seed is most delicious), African Apple (Udala or Agbalumo), Velvet Tamarind (Ichelekwu) etc. I know some people reading this don't even know the English name of some of these fruits😁

(2) The Weather Is 100% Predictable

Unlike the rainny seasons, the weather in dry seasons are very predictable. You are free to go anywhere you want without worrying about rain falling next minute. You don't have to carry umbrellas around you everytime and you are free to make plans without it being disrupted by the rain. That is why most people fix events like wedding and burials during dry seasons to avoid disappointments.

(3) Dry Seasons Are Festive Seasons

I love dry seasons so much because they are festive season. Most festival like Christmas, New Year and even Easter which is usually around March all happen within the dry seasons. It usually very fun because you get to take a break from school or work and spend time with your loved ones. Some people travel to their villages and its an opportunity to meet all your relatives. You even attend end of the year meetings and collect the money you've been saving the whole year. The feeling is awesome.

(4) My Clothes Dries Very Fast😁

During dry seasons, washing can be very tiring because when you wash and spread your cloths to dry, the rain comes and it becomes wet again. This will make you carry your wet cloths up and down anytime there is sign of rain. When you now wash heavy materials like Bed Sheets, Towels, Sweat Shirts etc, it takes days to dry which is very frustrating. But in dry seasons, you can wash your cloths by 12pm and wear them by 1pm. 😁

(5) MY BIRTHDAY

Another major reason why i love the dry seasons is because my birthdays falls within the heart of the dry seasons which is 19th December. Yes, this is my official announcement to all my friends on #steemit that my birthday is coming. In fact, its already here. 19th december isn't that far anymore so prepare my gifts and my birthday messages. The birthday messages is very important because it makes me feel good about myself.

So guys, these are the 5 major reasons why i love the dry seasons. Of course there are still plenty disadvantages that comes with the dry season and i am aware of them.
