**Here is a combination of few Africans Heros who have changed the course of history over time.

AHMED SEKOU TOURE'

  1. sekou Toure' was the first president of Guinea. He was the first president to have dared to say "No" to French president Charles de Gaulle, in 1958 under pressure to grant independence to French colonies.

Toure' in his speech said:-it's better to be poor and free, than to live in opulence and be a slave. He was able to achieve his aim.

FUNILAYO RANSOME KUTI

  1. Years before the wave of feminism began to take forn. Fumilayo a democratic socialism lead the formation of the Abeokuta woman union (AWU) and later women international democratic federation (WIDF). Organization that were able to aid women right in education, employment, and political participation. She was able to establish some ground rules which many women still enjoy up till date.

OLUWOLE AKINWANDE

  1. was born in ijebu isara, Nigeria. He grew up in abeokuta and studied at University College Ibadan.

Despit many challenges face on his way to achieving greatness he was able to beat every challenges and well recognised. In 1986 He won the noble prize for literature. Soyinka has influenced and impact in Africa evident in drama, poetry, fiction and autobiography.
