Trumps Declaration Of Jerusalem As Israel's Capital#A Prophecy or A Just An Event

I knew that the election of Donald Trump was way too much out of the ordinary to be ignored. I did not give him a chance judging by the way things work in the US. It was clear man was not in charge here, he broke all the rules of the game and yet won. God was directly in charge of the 2016 US presidential elections. When he became president this year, I braced up for shocks on the international scene.

Israel is in the frontline global news again. Vigilant saints can't miss this one.

The US policy somersault of officially recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel is significant prophetically. It signals the final count down to the end of this age that will trigger off the quick and successive events which will finally usher in the coming of the Lord. It is a major sign only fools will ignore.

Several years back, a prophet named Zechariah had predicted that there will be a final signal that will orchestrate the chain of events immediately prior to the second coming of Christ.

"For I will. gather ALL the nations to battle against Jerusalem. The city shall be taken. The houses rifled. And the women ravished. Half of the city shall go into captivity. But the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

The prophet continued

"THEN THE LORD WILL GO FORTH AND FIGHT AGAINST THOSE NATIONS AS HE FIGHTS IN THE DAY OF BATTLE. And in that day His feet will stand in the mount of Olives which faces Jerusalem on the east. And the mount of Olives shall be split into two" Zechariah 14: 1-4

There is a prediction of a global gang up against Israel on the contest for ownership of Jerusalem. Already Hamas has called for a third intifada- uprising. The Friday prayers today will be critical in Jerusalem. Riots have spontaneously commenced. The ripple effect is global.

The bad blood against Israel by the nations of the world because of this decision cuts across religious lines. Most European nations have expressed shock and anger. They understand the global security implications from humanistic point. The strong bond between US and its traditional allies in Europe have never been so weak since the end of the Second World War and the signing of NATO. Remember the dust of the US back out from the environment treaty is yet to settle. Desmond Tutu condemned the move. He said "God is weeping". I foresee more challenges in global security next year. The birth pangs of a new age is increasing in momentum.

The implication for the church.

The parable of the ten virgins is a lesson in focus as to how to prepare for the coming of the Lord. Matt 25. The wisdom for living is revealed in the wise virgins who oiled their lamps. They got prepared for the bridegroom. The foolish lived like the bridegroom will not return. They waved aside news like the current updates on Israel. They were foolish.

The Lord was very clear as to what we are expected to be doing. He said we should keep our focus on the eternal rather than the externals. Look up for your salvation is nigh. He admonished. We need to:

1. Develop an eternal perspective to life and repent from earth focused religion.

2. Get more serious with personal walk with God. Be more sensitive to your character and conduct. Be spiritual in all things.

3. Prepare by focusing on your gifts and redouble your efforts in fulfilling your divine assignment. Take service in Gods kingdom serious, dead serious

4. Love people, don't love things. Love your enemies, quit praying for their death. Work hard on mending broken relationships. Guard your marriage by loving and forgiving more It counts for eternity.

DO NOT GO TO SLEEP KEEP AWAKE, beloved, this is no sleeping time beloved except if you want to be a casualty of the perilous times and miss your Lord.
