The Note

in #nigeria8 years ago (edited)

Our nights aren't no longer our's
Your shadow runs past
The wind blows our conscience,
We are tormented by your screams,
We feel sickened,
We had never being our best with you,
We let you down,
We played on your intelligence,
Mocking you at every chance,
We pinch you,
We didn't allow you friends,
Belittled your self-esteem,
You begged for mercy,
But we weren't done yet,
We thought it was fun,
In fact we loved seeing you weak,
Not until that day!
The day we will never stop blaming ourselves!
The day you left the note,
Your suicide note,
And now you haunt us,
Just like we did,
We deserve it all,
But we plead you forgive us,
We beg you let go.

Nice work sir illuminatus, you sha no wan mentor me abi

This is truly nice poetry ! Beautiful lines my friend !!

It has been a really long time. How have you being?

Yes my friend ! I am doing well . What about you ?

Very well, thank you.

It's true that poetry mirrors and represents actions about life. These are beautiful words stringed together in verses.

Sometimes in life, some actions can never be reversed once the deed is done, just like the persona is self-blaming. Hope they got forgiven sha.

Cheers!
