Osama
Osama,
The silent prayers of ladies,
We all pray for your love,
But we dare not show intention,
The elders will curse us if we do,
They will cite us bad examples from generations to come,
So we await your choice of bride,
Even the birds know you are tendering your wife,
They keep watch in expectation,
As you come forward in front of the villagers,
You stun us!
Making us weary out!
How could you bring in a stranger?
A white mermaid!
You shame us,
Making us feel incompetence,
Osama we will never respect your decision,
Never!
I am @Illuminatus, I am a Nigerian and I am neither a terrorist, a scammer nor a spammer.
Several thanks to @rok-sivante for his generosity these past months.
You still managed to rhyme with the last "scammer not a spammer" line. :)
Hehe
lol, I guess you can say that.
this is interesting poem , osama must have been a bad man and a bad lover to do this
I don't think that Osama is a bad person. He only followed his heart.
This is beautiful and so true to African culture. Maybe I should write a poem on it too.
Alright, let's see what you'll cook up.
I love the touch of suspense at the beginning and the revelation at the end. From all indication, this Osama dude is in trouble...Lol
Good work bro!
Thanks success.
