This is Nigeria where nothing works. It's been almost 60years that we got our independence and it's very frustrating to know that it's almost the same set of people has been ruling us. Yet they kept telling the kids that they are the leaders of tomorrow. But when you fail to vacate the power areas, how will the kids ascend to the throne of leadership. My heart goes to the families of the regular Nigerians who has high hope in the government's ability of making life easier for them, they casts their votes wholeheartedly only for the government to fail them and making life difficult for them, these set of people are usually at the receiving end because about 90% of the total population fails under this category.
We have a whole wide numbers of sectors that are just failure in our country. You have to be your own CSO ( chief security officer) in order to be safe. Health sector is fucked up, employment is not forthcoming. Yet the families of this people occupying our public offices lives in luxury, they are exposed to only high level of security, standard health care abroad + they get all they want while those that voted them in lives in penury. Sometimes I can't but wonder if this politicians have conscience at all. The supposed funds meant for the betterment of the general populace are being converted for personal gain. Damn this country is under siege. And if we continue to remain like this, I'm not sure we will get any better till Jesus comes back.
I think it's now the responsibility of every youth in our country to be allowed to determine our future, our future is not guaranteed if we are being ruled by aged people, I think it's time to vote for people that has young mind that has not been obliterated. Let's be progressive please, for every Nigeria that reads this article should be ( come next election, let's vote wisely). A word is enough for the wise.
Thanks
