I am making this post in regards to steemit in Nigeria conference (SIN) that will take place in Nigeria this year. More details in the image below.

Sin is a programme that will see the steemit flag flying high in Nigeria. It includes great steemians like @ehiboss, @gbenga, @gloglo, @destinysaid, @ogoowinner, @illuminatus, @leczy, @jade56,, @bat-junior and @steve1122. These people have come together to organize a programmme that will create an awareness and tackle steemit related issues.

Why Should I Attend

I still consider myself a novice in steemit. I still have a lot to learn and i think i can if i attend the programme. It will also bring me face to face with my mentors. People like @gbenga, @ehiboss, @fisteganos e.t.c.

What SIN Can Achieve

Seriously, every Nigerian knows the situation of the country. This is an opportunity to take our youths of the street. m any have graduated years back and are still jobless. Introduction of steemit to new people will give them the opportunity to do something with their lives. i am benefiting from steemit and i would want my fellow countrymen to tap into this opportunity

Through this, quality content will also increase since the organizers will be taking their time to explain Steemit unlike that introduced some of us and told us that it was a money making platform. As new people will already know what is required of them before they join. I guess it will also reduce the f for f and v for v strategy and the organizers will explain in details how much the platform dislikes it

Suggestions

If the programme is to become a success, then all existing users especially Nigerians would have to join hands together. It does not have to be the organizers alone. Advertising on other social media should be compulsory for everybody. If we want more people at the event the we should invite more people personally to the event.

I have the belief that it will work out. It is a good initiative and it is meant to help a lot of Nigerians.
