Airhawk-Project: Solution To Steemit Challenges

As a member of steemitdotcom community, I write as a true witness to what Airhawk-project stands for and what it intends to achieve within the ambit of steemit rules.
Steemit has proven to be a place every knowledge-loving person would want to be due its addictive nature. No doubt that steemit is addictive. I for one am a victim.

WHY IS STEEMIT ADDICTIVE?

Considering the knowledge people acquire on steemit, you will agree with me that the brains behind steemit really achieved their objective by insisting on original and quality contents.

People visit steemit often because they always expect new thoughts and ideas. The knowledge-loving steemians don't want to miss out on any information.

People are also addicted to steemit because it is a social platform with a difference. People who work hard receive reward for their hardwork. It is one of its kind. The operators carefully decentralised the platform in such a way that people earn tokens for upvoting, resteeming, and commenting on other people's posts. It gives everybody opportunity to share from the tokens the blockchain offers.

Furthermore, people get addicted to steemit because they have made true and trusted friends they have not met one on one. You know how it feels when someone you have not met in person treats you with kindness and love, appreciating you for good work by upvoting, and giving you corrections with all gentleness. A steemian friend sent me a private message one time correcting my error. I didn't know how to thank him. I was so pleased by that. I felt loved, cared for. I have seen big shots on steemit calling people to order in a gentle way to do something right, e.g your image does not have source link.

AIRHAWK-PROJECT

This project emanated from a Telegram based steemit community called steemitdotcom, a brainchild of @dreamchasser. Steemitdotcom was aimed at promoting participation of new steemit users who often get discouraged. Most users from Africa extraction and other third-world countries get discouraged easily on steemit because they do not see the convincing factor, the bet that brought them in. They open account and after one week, they disappear into tin air, having been disappointed by what they saw. Some find their square root when they cannot handle the tedious process involved in funding steemit account.
For want of knowledge on blockchain, the process of moving local currency to exchanger in order to get BTC or any other that can go through the blocktrade or any other. With all this process, many throw in the towel. You want to checkout the easiest way?

Steemitdotcom took it upon itself to encourage and guide such individuals who accepted our community and opted for membership. It encouraged its members on making quality post, avoiding plagiarism, and leasing of steem power to achieve curation.

Within a short period of time, a single account project was initiated. And some highly spirited members gave their support to it, and today, airhawk-project is born. Formerly steemitdotcom, and today, airhawk-project.
It is worthy to not the reason for the change of name. The founder and leader of the community, @dreamchasser, had the progress of minnows on steemit at heart. Understanding that the sustainability of steemit is anchored on the number of users, steemit and steemian became central idea to the formation of a community called STEEMITDOTCOM.

However, this was misunderstood and what steemitdotcom stands for was also misunderstood resulting to change of name. At every piont in time, people intentions are misconstrued. It is a common experience. But with dialogue, issues are resolved.
The steemitdotcom situation was not different. With dialogue, the suspiciousness was cleared. And today, all the members of steemitdotcom community are grateful to all the people who ensure that steemit is scam-free. Big thanks to all the self-made police on steemit community. You guys are reason people are not crying here. Your watch-out has made steemit no place for scammers.

In addition to what Airhawk-project is doing, the community through its leadership has identified an important area of challenge, and proffer ONE-TIME solution to it. The newbies who cannot fund their account can now do that without pain. On airhawk-project telegram platform, they can meet old steemians who are ready to exchange their Steem dollar for local currency or any other currencies. This I call, one-time solution to problems of many steemians. You want to take this advantage?
