Let's get the party started... S. I. N. (Steemit In Nigeria)

in #nigeria7 years ago (edited)

Hey steemians, the Nigerian Community is on steemit is cranking it up.
We are about to blow away all limitations. In the past three months at least 500 Nigerians have joined steemit, attracted by the limitless opportunity it offers.

However we are not stopping there, we are organising the first S.I.N.

This initiative is to expose more Nigerians to what steemit is about and why it is a far better blogging tool. So many Nigerians have used several social network channels for years without any form of reward. Some, like me, now have an apathy to these means of connecting to the world, with steemit the story changes entirely.

I've every intention to attend because i want to learn how to write better. It is usually said that the African man hates reading and by extrapolation writing, so much so that you can hide gold in a book and an African man will never find it. i intend to make a paradigm shift, cos the future lies in knowledge.

Steemit in Nigeria will definitely succeed and thrive if minnows are properly guided and oriented, so they don't see it as another get rich scheme. At the same time, it is important the community pulls together supporting one another in times of need. It will be of much help if quality posts are adequately rewarded to keep one in high spirits.

Nigerians will learn the importance of not just working hard but working smart in this conference. The power of the mind will be released and we'll be able to think outside the box. This is exactly what we need as a country now especially in these hard times of economic depression and inflation.

PLAN TO BE THERE

A big thanks to all who have come up with this initiative.
