Nigeria, beyond barriers
I actually thought Fela Durotoye's official announcement to run for presidency yesterday will go viral,
but I don't think it did. I expected our youths to be full of excitement and share this good news but I did not really see it...
I'm wondering, why???
I guess it's a responsibility we have to take on to share this good news with as many people as we can.
I see this as a fundamental flaw among us as Nigerians, especially the youths. We've been clamoring for better leadership, we've been bending under the burden of poor leadership and now this unique opportunity has arrived, we are asking strange questions. At a time like this, we shouldn't even be talking about political parties, rather we should be talking about personalities.
The large so called "mega parties" have failed woefully and consistently. So please, let's transcend from this mental complacency and come out en-mass to support Fela
To a large extent, I believe he has the needed qualifications and exposure to possibly succeed the current person in power.
We often talk about political experiences, but how far has the old dogs with so much political experiences gotten us?
WHAT WE HOPE TO DO
We want to start up a tread on steemit amidst other social platforms in order to sell his name and the names of other proven youths vying for political offices. Every Nigerian youth should be part of this revolution. be a part of this. If you know any youth who has a leadership credibility, coming out for a political office, send his name to us on this post. Together, we will cause the change we want.
Let's cause the change we demand.
We have the number, we hold the votes. It's time we stop selling our future for peanuts. We need to come out of our closet and speak where our voice is loudest. The social media is our play ground, we can't be beaten down here.

It's good that you wrote this. I don't know what's wrong with Nigerians. Everytime APC this and PDP that. Instead of looking for a new face with better prospects.
It's time for youths to decide how they what nigeria to be in the nearest future. Please let's do the right thing ,stand for credibility ,stand for a man with a vision for Nigeria.
The right leader will give us the nigeria we have always dreamt of,a nigeria with stable power supply a nigeria where the ideas, vision and talent of people don't die because of diverse opportunities,a nigeria where great entrepreneurs will be birthed, a nigeria where we don't need to leave for Lybia in other to access routes to other countries,a nigeria where our people will stay back to develop their country with various skills and knowledge instead of seeking greener pasture,a nigeria where leaders serve the people and not torment them using absolute power,disquising under democracy.
We need a man who understand democracy in its entirety,not a military democratic government funny right? Let change things by getting our cards and voting our future into reality.
