Oh my beloved steemit, i didn't believe it that anything could make me to be so far away from you. Despite how overwhelming things are here, i still have you in mind but was constrained to post.

Serving Nigeria, my fatherland is a necessity for every one that graduate from Nigeria University and other institutions apart from College of Education. The call came last Thursday and i had no other choice than to hearken.
National Youth Service Corp, NYSC, an initiative initiated by General Yakubu Gowon on May 22, 1973 after the civil of 1973 was for so many reasons with the 3 Rs encapsulating the whole reasons.

The 3 Rs stand for RECONSTRUCTION, REHABILITATION AND REINTEGRATION

The NYSC scheme was established such that graduates of Nigerian tertiary institutions are deployed to a state in Nigeria other than their state of origin or sometimes, their state of residence for a compulsory one year of service to their fatherland.

Being a graduate of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Ogbomoso, i was deployed to a state in the North Central geo-political zone of the country which is Niger state. I reported to camp last thursday and ever since it has been activities packed. Parade drill anchored by the military personnel has not been easy.
It's swearing on on monday so the army are training us morning day and night to perfect our parade for the presiding officer who is the governor of the state.

Other activities took place but the most tasking so far has been the military drill
