It's 57 years now, since thy independence tho not thy birth.
Thy children are weary and scared of thyself..
They fear fully to express thy love for other countries cus of thy law...

Because of my love for thee... I recall in my own words thy national anthem...

Arise O ye compatriot!!
Nigeria call thee to obey
To serve thy father's land
With love and strength and faith
Thy labour of thine heroes' path. Shall never be in vain.
To serve with heart and might
One nation bound in freedom, peace and unity

Thy nation cry thee to thy leaders...
"O that today they will listen to our voice, let them harken not thy heart"

I pray for a prosperous country in the future to come..
