A friend of mine is working on creating an AI based NFT collection on OpenSea.

AI artwork is a brand new medium and there are a lot of opinions about it both good and bad. One one hand it's unlike any other visual medium regarding the skills needed. However, it is not without skill. Causing the AI to create a particular picture is not exactly straightforward, and there's a good chance that it will get muddled on the way.

I think this particular collection does a great job showcasing the ability to create beautiful images within a particular style and mood and stay in it.
