My son, Luke, and I took an incredible 5-hour kayaking trip along Santa Cruz Island, off of Ventura, California. We paddled through some of the largest accessible ocean caves in the world as part of an unforgettable adventure. This drawing of Potato Harbor was my only drawing of the day, during a much-needed lunch break. The rest of the trip is all committed to muscle memory. I am very grateful for my son, who booked the trip and probably rowed just a bit more than I did in our 2-person kayak.
