It is a strange paradox that while the grief of football fans(and it is real grief) is private - we each have an individual relationship with our clubs, and I think that we are secretly convinced that none of the other fans understands quite why we have been harder hit than anyone else - we are forced to mourn in public, surrounded by people whose hurt is expressed in forms different from our own.

Great video. That must have been hard for you choking out that praise for the loathsome Cheifs. Marcus Peters showed true classlessness being the only player to sit during the National Anthem....SCREW HIM!
You're right that they Pats looked slow toward the end of the game, but they were incredibly cocky in the first quarter. They could have really put the Chiefs in a hole after that first fumble. Also they had a couple of TD's called back for what amounts to mental errors.
I wouldn't be so quick to count out the Pats yet, they are still lethal. But the Chiefs proved that if you can keep up with them early, you can definitely outlast them!
This one is definitely on the Pats D. They let Alex Smith look like Drew Brees. No pressure, all day to make plays. Never had to resort to his usual dink and dunk low risk pass attack. He didn't even have to make plays with his legs.
The best part of this game was all the shots of the crowd. They were stunned. Too bad we didn't see any shots of Marky Mark after this one. It's only one game, but you know the Boston press will have a field day tomorrow. Should be some interesting headlines.

If they loose to The Saints next week....the press will go into full shred mode in Boston. This was awesome.
