A "Wonder Woman" screening exclusively for women at the Alamo Drafthouse theater in Austin has pissed off a lot of fragile men.

"The most iconic superheroine in comic book history finally has her own movie, and what better way to celebrate than with an all-female screening? Apologies, gentlemen, but we’re embracing our girl power and saying ‘No Guys Allowed’ for one special night at the Alamo Ritz," the Texas theater said when announcing the special event.

A Facebook post advertising the screening of the upcoming Warner Bros. release was then flooded with angry comments from men with their panties in a bunch, accusing the theater of sexism.

• "Could you imagine the anger and outrage from the liberal staff of Alamo if Trump held an all male screening at the White House or even if another theatre did an all-male screening?!"
  one offended male wrote.

Another commented,

• "Apparently ‘equality’ is only selective nowadays ... How about a ‘men’s only’ showing of a movie or is that not how equality works?"

• "Lots of luck. You are showing just how bias the world is," another man wrote Friday morning. "June 6 is most likely the most male day as it is the D-Day Anniversary and you choose to have a ladies only viewing. Perhaps all the males should say BOYCOTT."
