Isn't that the plan though? What is the point of sbd if it's not being printed?

This is why I am not as exuberant about crypto as a lot of people here. It may be a step up from what we have, but then again, who knows what problems we will run into. I feel as long as people are working on building trust and decentralizing power we will be ok though, regardless of what form it takes
