RE: More #NewSteem, How I Ended Up Here and the Path Towards Mass Adoption (Ulog No. 38)
I read this, and your post yesterday with interest @denmarkguy. As you may know, I have weighed in on this type of discussion, including the potential implications of HF21/22 might have been for the small fry like me. Partly in anticipation of the changes and also because I'd neglected my "external" audience, some of whom had actually asked directly, whether I was still blogging I have reverted to mostly blogging for an "external" audience. I have moved my blog from a WordPress package to a self-hosted site on the WP platform and using the @steempress plugin. Since the SteemPress team have introduced bi-directional comments, it means that my "external" readers see both comments and "earnings" via the blockchain. The other advantage of using WP, and which I forgot to mention in a comment on a post on a similar topic by @paulag, is that one can organise posts into categories on WP so that my "steem specific/exlusive" posts are all grouped together. Also, from there, I have the choice of auto posting to social media channels - or not.
Perhaps I am preaching to the choir, but I most certainly don't write exclusively for Steemit users and readers.
Interesting to hear from other Steemians.
I too neglected my external audience for a while. like well over a year......but I have been back at it (with steempress) almost 12 months and I am seeing awesome results.
