Thanks @denmarkguy for this analysis. I've not posted much since HFT21/2 because I've been busy off Steemit, but the one post I did, had greater returns than I expected. On the curation: I have no idea - simply because I've not looked. As for looking for new content: I've been busy off Steemit....

However:

a growing volume of content is floating into the ethers of "non-categorization" because tagging has gone from being a feature used to characterize the content and sort it... to a way to list as many "tribes" as possible in hopes of getting some reward.

I share your concerns and have, for a while expressed my confusion, irritation and distraction at the proliferation of tribes and tokens. I'm still not convinced of their benefits.

Time, I guess, will tell.
