It is confirmed today that BLACKFOX: Age of the Ninja, a live-action prequel to Studio 3Hz (Sword Art Online Alternative Gun Gale Online)'s forthcoming modern ninja action TV anime BLACKFOX, is now in the works for release in the fall of 2019. Its story is about a female ninja named Rikka, who is the anime character's ancestor in the ninja and samurai era.
