(Four to eight inches of snow doesn’t sound all that terrible to me, but maybe in Istanbul????

Final tally: President sticks taxpayers with $100M vacation tab

As a candidate in 2008, then Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., vowed he would give up vacations if elected president, in order to completely focus on his job.
Fast-forward to the present, and it is now projected Obama will have spent more than $100 million in taxpayer funds on vacations during his eight years as president.
That’s the astounding estimate provided Thursday to WND by the government watchdog group Judicial Watch, which has been keeping track of the costs of Obama’s numerous and lavish vacations since he took office.
Judicial Watch announced it had “received new documents from both the Secret Service and the Air Force relating to Obama travel expenses, bringing the known total over the past eight years to $96,938,882.51.”

Volcano Activity Strengthening Around The World

Volcanoes Campi Flegrei in Italy, Sakurajima in Japan, Pavlof in Alaska, Popocatépetl in Mexico and Iturrialba in Costa Rica among others showed signs of reawakening in the last semester of 2016, sounding the alarm among the scientist community that warns about a chain of imminent eruptions.
Throughout history, volcanoes have inspired fear and admiration as well. Vesubio (Italy), Mount Tambora (Indonesia), Laki (Iceland), Mount St. Hellen (USA) and Nevado del Ruiz (Colombia) are just some of the volcanoes that have ravaged entire populations in different periods of time, killing thousands of people and turning vast areas into a desert of fire, ashes and sulfuric gases.

iPhone manufacturer Foxconn plans to replace almost every human worker with robots

Foxconn, the Taiwanese manufacturing giant behind Apple’s iPhone and numerous other major electronics devices, aims to automate away a vast majority of its human employees, according to a report from DigiTimes. Dai Jia-peng, the general manager of Foxconn’s automation committee, says the company has a three-phase plan in place to automate its Chinese factories using software and in-house robotics units, known as Foxbots.
The first phase of Foxconn’s automation plans involve replacing the work that is either dangerous or involves repetitious labor humans are unwilling to do. The second phase involves improving efficiency by streamlining production lines to reduce the number of excess robots in use. The third and final phase involves automating entire factories, “with only a minimal number of workers assigned for production, logistics, testing, and inspection processes,” according to Jia-peng.

Obama Administration’s Attack on Russia

The Obama administration appears to be attempting to provoke the Russians into a confrontation once again. This apparent attack on Russia is in reality an attack on Donald Trump. Andrea Mitchell reported that the Obama administration is taking steps to “box in” president-elect Donald Trump so the sanctions are not easily reversible. This provocation will include economic sanctions, 'diplomatic censure' and clandestine cyber attacks. The excuse for this provocation is the alleged Russian interference in the U.S. election. How can Donald Trump be sworn in as president if the Russians in effect chose him as our next president? The campaign being waged suggests that Trump is not very intelligent, he ignores intelligence assets and he is a tool of Vladimir Putin.
The administration’s point man for the attack on Trump’s competence is Vice President Joseph Biden. Biden has declared, "Trump is so stupid that he doesn’t understand,” and "He has no idea what the hell he’s talking about.” After revealing that he was accompanied by a military aide carrying a briefcase containing the nuclear codes, Biden remarked, “Just imagine giving this guy access." The vice president also revealed the location of the secure bunker where he would go in the event of a terrorist attack or national security threat.
