House Bill Would Disband Scandal-Plagued ATF

Today, Congressman Jim Sensenbrenner reintroduced the ATF Elimination Act, legislation that would dissolve the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and merge its exclusive duties into existing federal agencies.
Additionally, the Act calls for an immediate hiring freeze at the agency and requires the Department of Justice (DOJ) to eliminate and reduce duplicative functions and waste, as well as report to Congress with a detailed plan on how the transition will take place. Further, it would transfer enforcement of firearms, explosives and arson laws to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and illegal diversion of alcohol and tobacco products would be transferred to the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA).
Under this bill, the DEA and FBI would be required to submit to Congress a plan for winding down the affairs of the ATF after no more than 180 days, and field offices, along with other buildings and assets of the ATF, would be transferred to the FBI. It would have one year to report excess property to the General Services Administration (GSA).

The BATF is an illegal agency. It’s in explicity violation of the second amendment.

Over the last 40 years, I saw events come and go that I thought would expose the greatest deception in history: the claim that human CO2 is causing catastrophic global warming, known as anthropogenic global warming (AGW).

That organization assigned the members of the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), which then produced the "science" to support the AGW claim.

The Idiocy of How We Buy Healthcare

Seven years ago, President Obama and the Democrats said that they had solved the healthcare crisis. Their Affordable Care Act promised universal coverage for the uninsured and lower prices for the rest of us. Their calculations were wrong and Obamacare ended up making America’s healthcare mess even worse.
While there are many problems with the current healthcare system, one seems to stand out among all the rest for its sheer stupidity. The most idiotic thing about the American healthcare system is that when we buy healthcare, we have no idea how much we are buying it for. This problem seems to have been worsened by Obamacare.
Aside from suffering from steadily rising premiums and higher deductibles since the onset of Obamacare, we are being blindsided by unexpected medical bills that come out of nowhere. When we go to the doctor for an office visit or check into a hospital, we have no idea what it will cost.

A recent Gallup poll found that a significant majority of Americans — 67 percent to be exact — consider Big Government to be the biggest threat in comparison to big business and big labor.
Eighty-one percent of Republicans and 51 percent of Democrats answered Big Government among the three options, which means that even a majority of Democrats appreciate the threats of government overreach.
How big has government grown in the past couple of decades? Since President Obama has been in office, the federal debt has almost doubled and is now a hair away from $20 trillion, we have unfunded liabilities in the hundred trillions, and we’ve seen the entitlement behemoth of Obamacare come to life. It goes without saying, but Bush 43 wasn’t much better — we got Medicare Part D (an entitlement program extension) and the federal debt doubled, from $5.73 trillion on Jan. 20, 2001 to $10.63 trillion on Jan. 20, 2009.
Budget outlays for mandatory spending account for most of federal spending, which means that no matter how fiscally conservative and responsible a president may be, it matters little if entitlement programs remain untouched.

There’s been a lot of speculation about whether Trump would consider giving a Supreme Court seat to his erstwhile political opponent, Senator Ted Cruz.
Well now we know that he talked about the possibility with Trump’s top advisor.

Cruz being on the Supreme Court would be one of the best things that could happen to this country.

Abortion groups funded by Soros staging anti-Trump march

The Washington, D.C., Women’s March pitted against President-elect Donald Trump the day after his inauguration is being organized by numerous pro-abortion groups that are funded by Leftist billionaire George Soros.
An array of pro-abortion organizations and other social activist groups that are reported to be partially funded by Soros are coordinating the event slated for next week that is geared to challenge Trump’s pro-life platform, according to Breitbart. Even though the four official founders of the march avoided directly listing Soros as a contributor, it is maintained that Planned Parenthood, Human Rights Watch and Sierra Club – along with other groups sponsoring the event – receive millions of dollars in funding from the billionaire.
