USA: budget deficit slightly up
The US budget showed a slight increase in August from August 2016, the US Treasury said on Wednesday.
On a gross basis, the eleventh month of the US fiscal year, which closed in September, recorded a deficit of $ 108 billion, up 1%. The month of August, which does not include significant tax maturities representing revenue for the Treasury, is generally in deficit.
