Malibu fruit preserves company to drop “Boy” from “Boysenberry Jam” label.

MALIBU- In an effort to become more inclusive, the owner of "Malibu Farmers Market", dropped the letters "B-O-Y" from their popular "Boysenberry Jam".

"It was a team decision. The original flavor was insensitive to our female client base." said, Tom Lawson. According to Lawson, the ingredient profile will also feature a special ingredient change. "Senberry Jams will also be infused with soy. We believe the soy enriches the flavor and eliminates any harsh masculine tones in the Senberry Jam."

Lawson is also considering renaming his popular grilled salmon dish to "Grilled sal-gender neutral fillet".
