Probably because the "wheel" in this case that you're referring to is a branch off of xotika, which has always been kind of lame. Plus otika isn't really pivitol in Steemit advertizing/expansion.
I imagine part of the point of this Streemit.online is to cater largely towards Steemit users and to attract more individuals to become involved with Steemit.
