Why do so many people pretend that governments can fix everything? Where is Sean Penn when you need him?

Well, the people put their trust in the government, to administer the resources for the benefit of all ... but here, theories collapse.
This government ought to fix many things, because they have a monopoly on everything.
Regarding Sean Penn, he came a few years ago, to delve into marginality, but ended up walking with Chávez, who convinced him that in Venezuela, the poor are happier than in other countries.
