that is super important to know so if and when a hard fork happens and your holding most of your coins in BTC on there exchange your may want to think of shifting it to another wallet. or Even convert to ethereum

The miners and users have already come to a consensus they are in agreement that they will use segwit so there is no fork planned any more for 1st August though
