Please Don't Paint The Flamingos Pink
"It happened in Florida", this is starting to become the opening line to so many events that just push the limits of human stupidity to new heights, or maybe I should say new lows. This really ought to be a meme.

Florida officials, rescued a painted white ibis bird this week, days after they found turtles and gopher tortoises illegally decorated in hues of blue and red.
While on the rise there, this trend is not limited exclusively to Florida..
Humans have been meddling with wildlife a lot lately, and it never ends well. In May, park officials euthanized a bison calf after tourists who thought they were rescuing it loaded it into their car at Yellowstone National Park.
Instead, the encounter led to its death.
Just last month, a crowd of onlookers snapping pictures of a mountain goat chased the animal to its death in Alaska.
Truly, stupidity seems to be the one trait that knows neither bounds nor borders. It does not know race, gender, political affiliation or religion.
To these bright and shining examples of stupidty in our species...

Now I don't know much about science, birds, shrimp, cryptography and auto repair, but this sounds a little made up.
Why did the bison have to be euthanized?
I have heard of people painting their own personal cats and dogs, but that's with non-toxic, plant-based makeup.
Who knows, maybe humans didn't paint these animals, maybe the animals were trying their paws at makeup.
The calf had to be euthanized because it's mother rejected it.

OMG That is so messed up!
I think it would be a better use of our time to paint idiots orange, at least then the animals would no what to expect when they see the freaks running toward them.
