Public Poll Shows Deep Concern Over "Deep State"
Monmouth University have recently concluded a poll in which the public was surveyed to gauge their opinion and understanding of the "Deep State", and the outcome was quite shocking.
It was only a few years ago that the "Deep State" or (shadow government of non elected officials ) had been pulling the strings behind the scenes, was touted by the mainstream as a crazy conspiracy, yet recent findings from this latest poll shows it is pretty much common knowledge now.
Results from the poll showed that when asked specifically about the "Deep State" 13% were very familiar with the Term , 24% were familiar with the Term and 63% were unfamiliar with the Term.
However when the question was put as, " a group of unelected government and military officials who manipulate secretly or direct national policy behind the scenes, a whopping 74% believed these people operate in the American Government.
80% believed that government and or "Deep State" monitors and spies on citizens and just over 50% were worried about this..
Polling Director Patrick Murray stated:
“We usually expect opinions on the operation of government to shift, depending on which party is in charge. But there is an ominous feeling by Democrats and Republicans alike that a "Deep State" of unelected operatives are pulling the levers of power.”
It is good to see this poll's results and more people are waking up to what is going on... it is happening all over the world not just USA..

Given the revelations of Wikileaks and Snowden, the American public is now much more open to ideas that would have been considered crazy just a few years ago.
Those ideas really weren't considered crazy, they just could not be driven forward because of the lack of technology years ago.
You don't need any poll to tell you this! The fact that the Libertarian and Anarchist movements are growing in numbers, along with the success of concepts like Wikileaks and "decentralizaton" (i.e., blockchain, cryptos, etc) is a good indicator of the people's dissatisfaction with government that exists today (which is not new, only reborn). Many may not remember the revolts during the radical and rebellious '60s, but without the technology we have driving it today, it all fizzled out.

I am familiar and resentful of the concept but was unfamiliar with the term deep state.
Unfortunately, big brother is as inevitable with our governments as being micromanaged by inferior managers is at our places of work.
Time for some national entrepreneurialism!
