Free coal documentry from Amazon!! - The Coal industry is definately shrinking

Is coal becoming less relevant? There are towns where coal industry makes the town.
SO now the coal industry is only about a 3rd of what fuels americas power needs.
After viewing this free coal documentary from amazon, i walked away with a couple of things.

The government needs to help re educate the miners for different work. Incentive programs or free schools teaching renewable energies. renewable energies are here to stay, and they wont go away.

It would be prudent for a coal miner to make the switch, and do what they need to get invovled in renewables.

Again, after watching the video I think coal is more dead than I even thought. It's supplying 1/3 of our energy needs but is far far dirtier than I thought - the miles long coal trains cannot cover the coal so many tons of coal dust fly off in transit. That's unbelievable that they don't have a solution for that. They claim a cover is not used because it can become combustible and explode.. It's the writing on the wall, declining employment, coal companies being shuttered, renewables on the rise, natural gas abundance. I bet if you short coal stocks - you would make a fortune. The sad part - is that trump is backing a dead end, and is not doing more for renewables because he's backing the dead horse. Worse - he's not providing re-education for miners to get into another power generation field, like renewables which are expanding and here to stay for good. So again trump is doing things backward. Re-educating the coal miners I think is the way to turn around a worsening situation, rather than backing and promoting coal. There is no such thing as clean coal, not after seeing how bad it is just transporting the stuff. I hope they figure out fusion power soon, that would really help countries out!!
