Trump Ends Foreign Wars - effective Jan 21 2018steemCreated with Sketch.

It happened yesterday. Erdogan said Turkish forces are going all the way to Manjib.

Driving through Healdsburg in 2014 I saw a bunch of people with signs and streamers and I thought it was a celebration. Turned out it was something different (they were liberals that I then didn't yet grasp). Russia had just landed forces in Latakia without the US having a clue. General Allen had just quit as director of NATO, and General Patreus called it a "geo-political Chernobyl." I thought everyone was celebrating the end of US proxy forces in Syria, but as it turned out only one of them had even heard any of it. They were going to fly some signs for a bit then go for lunch.

Turkey today has the second largest military in NATO with over 400 fighter jets, and they are right now using F-18's to blow apart US proxy forces. Initially it was going to be a 30 mile buffer zone, but after the Turkish head of the military and the head of the intelligence services flew to Moscow, now it seems to be bigger than that and will likely hook up with Assad's Tiger Brigade. (you watch).

After last year shooting down a russian mig the turks had some issues with the northern bear in terms of economic sanctions that have since been totally lifted. To me this is Erdogan's penance, the body bags will be red with a crescent and something the US cannot choose to stop. The US cannot shoot down a Turkish plane and will retreat. Tillerson can threaten an extended stay all he likes, but its pretty clear that both Assad and Putler have clear plans to keep Syria's territory intact. There is no Kurdistan forming, Israel is not getting the water from the Euphrates. That deal ended on Saturday when Erdogan invaded.

I spent a month around the south aegean sea and got a sense of the Turkish spirit. I don't think they have the exceptionalism of Americans, but I do think they have every intention of being the Byzantines again. I see the ottomans as a passing answer to the mongols, I think the Turks are really still Byzantine.

Russian civilization arguably started by greeks settling in what is now Maripol, then mixing with the fins that were nomadic. Byzantium was already established by then. The northern cultural hub of the old world, Byzantium was the answer to old Egypt there for about 500 years. It didn't go away, and the Turks didn't forget. After a period of second class almost-euro propaganda, they again see themselves as the cultural hub of the world and a sense of pride for not being Euro is forming again. Like under Ataturk, its cool to be the leaders of MENA again.

Erdogan is nobody's puppet. If the Shanghai Cooperative Organization is China Russia and friends, after kicking the shit out of Saudi forces in Syria, one can certainly add the Persians as a third fully independent player, and now, as of yesterday, one can fully add the Byzantines as the fourth. How long before the fifth is France? Can macron shake his rothchild backers? Of course not. But if not Marie LePen than watch for her niece because that girl has every spirit required plus absolute bombshell looks.

So how is this about Trump? Because everything is about agent orange, and also, because the US military has bunted at every stop since his arrival. They abandoned Al Tanf, they let Aleppo and Raqqa fall back to Assad, now they're peeling back from the border in the north. All US proxies have been routed since he arrived. While Hillary was promising a "no fly zone", DJT has done the total opposite. The US has literally folded its cards and can now only leave with their tail between their legs (or shoot down their own F-18's, maybe, but the saudis can't shoot down Houthi missiles from the soviet era so I doubt the Kurds could drop a modern turkish fighter.)

Everybody in America is awake. Everyone knows that these foreign proxy wars are unmentionably demonstrable, all Americans are ashamed. Its hard to talk about, I mean, Obomber spoke of exceptionalism at every turn and every American has been conditioned to believe they are the indispensable nation for 12+ years. In reality, no one in America is proud of the military, the ex-service members especially. All know that its horrific, that its genocide, all over Africa, and probably dosing the vaccines with sterilization drugs. Everyone knows but its impossible to discuss.

Erdogan will help. I can't believe I just wrote that. The slippy maggot who let his son steal Syrian oil for years all while murdering neighbours via saudi proxies is actually maybe the one to end the garbage that is the middle east and north african proxy forces of the us imperial wall street bankers inc. I'll never put his picture on the wall, but I will give him props when worthy. Cleaning out the US special forces from north syria could be his defining maneuver and Putin's next ace played, again.

I'm drinking Roblar's Windmill Red. Film cameras are on route, one is an Elan 7 that will mount our current glass, and another is a Bronica 6x6. Our business begins again on Tuesday, Che and I each got fancy new haircuts and Christmas break is over because we actually have an address to scout! Its some vineyard with some cave and its for some engineer so its structural photography. Very different than the interior designer that we just worked for last. Great winter work because the bald trees are out of the shot completely. We have a couple more that we've already scouted, one is a round redwood library and the other is a concrete workshop that may be done finally. I should add one pic of that. We've been scouting it for a year and I think now it may finally be close.

My schedule is totally whack and cheryl told me to post something tonight. Since finding busy.org I have a bunch of drafts that need work. So instead of cleaning one of those up, I decided to start new and this is full James Joyce here. Completely unproofed, for her, I'm hitting send. :)
