Pakistan bands crypto trading

Pakistan, the place Vice Media went and bought a machine gun in their open air arms market a few years ago, is banning Crypto. I think your country has bigger problems. The nation's first exchange shut down upon news that banks were no longer allowed to deal with crypto firms. So if you moved to America or Canada or UK and want to send money back to your relatives in Pakistan it is now illegal to send them crypto. No person or company is legally allowed to send or receive crypto.

The country does a shit job on the war on terror, it remains to be be seen how the war on crypto goes. A lot of these poor countries probably have deep fear crypto is going to replace their unstable currencies. While most western nations have little to fear about crypto being the new money, third world countries should be very afraid of the crypto revolution

Be careful buying drugs

This article is few months old, but I liked it and thought I would share. Many people bought drugs with the same the wallet address they use publicly and researchers were able to link real world identities to over 100 drug transactions. You really shouldn't use the same wallet address for everything, use a new one every time. A lot of people on here have donate links, if you used that wallet to buy, or worse sell, drugs your your Steemit profile could be linked to your dark web one. Be careful.

Coinbase in talks to become licensed brokerage firm

Good for legitimacy, but bad for all the little exchanges who almost certainly will never be able to comply with the regulations. This the gives the regulators the ability to say to other exchanges "Coinbase was able to become registered, why can't you?"

I never used Coinbase, at least I don't think I did, if I did it was a long time ago. I didn't realize they only traded the big four Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, and Bitcoin Cash. Not that it matters as you can buy any coin by trading other coins for it.

All the crypto rules always seem silly to me. It's a huge risk but I can spend all my money on lottery tickets or the casino and the government doesn't have to protect me, I still don't see why Crypto is different. I wish Coinbase the best of luck becoming the "Google of exchanges". I guess regulation is coming, might as well get a head start on compliance. I am still opposed to over regulation of crypto space.

Japan needs crypto coders and engineers

The market is booming so much there they can't find the manpower to handle it. The Coincheck hack of NEM coins and the Mt Gox hack have caused Japan's Financial Services Agency to require exchanges to demonstrate they have their security measures beefed up.

Anyway starting salary for programmers there has risen to 100 000 USD due to demand increasing. If you have skills you should look into it, if you like Japanese food it could be the job for you. Just watch out for Godzilla.

MBA programs in the USA adding classes on crypto.

These are pretty impressive schools, Georgetown and Stanford. Article discuss how it's not just tech programs but business as well teaching students about crypto. That would nice, to go see a financial advisor and he actually knows what I am talking about. It's the future, schools need to adapt.

George Soros to invest in crypto

Really old billionaire's fund manager has received approval to get into crypto. With so many big money names and institutions avoiding the crypto space I think it could be a good sign, could help market. Also big enough money to really manipulate market as only whales can. We shall see..
