El navegador Google Chrome implementa nuevas funciones antivirus
Con la última actualización de Chrome para Windows llega con algunas nuevas funciones diseñadas especialmente para la seguridad de los equipos en los que esté instalado el browser.
Chrome ahora es capaz de detectar por sí solo si alguna de las extensiones que has instalado se están comportando de manera errática y atentando contra la seguridad del dispositivo, desactivandolo de manera automática y notificando al usuario. Esto es especialmente útil con aquellas extensiones maliciosas que cambian el motor de búsquedas por defecto del navegador.
Google asegura que su antivirus integrado en Chrome puede evitar que se instale un archivo escondido en algo que hayas descargado. No obstante, el usuario es el encargado de elegir si quiere o no eliminar ese software que Chrome considera malicioso.
