Damn! Erlich Bachman Is Leaving Silicon Valley!
I'm totally bummed. After four seasons of awesome, pot smoking hilarity, TJ Miller will be leaving my favorite show Silicon Valley, to focus on his blossoming film career. Miller's character, Erlich Bachman was quite frankly my favorite character on the HBO comedy that has a great cast in place. It'll be hard to imagine the show without him and his unique brand of sarcastic attitude.
On June 25th, Miller will be hosting his own HBO Standup Special and it has been rumored that he will have a much more expanded role in the upcoming Deadpool sequel. TJ will also be featured as the main character in the soon to be released animated feature, The Emoji Movie, as well as having a role in Steven Spielberg's lates flick, Ready Player One. So it looks like he'll be doing ok, despite leaving me wanting to see more of Erlich Bachman.
I truly liked every member of the Silicon Valley cast, but Erlich Bachman was truly the glue that brought that entire schtick all together. It'll be hard to imagine anyone else busting Jin Yang's balls or embarrassing himself in front of the bay Area's most distinguished venture capitalists. I'll still watch the show as long as HBO airs it, and who knows, maybe whomever replaces the genius mind behind "Bachmanity", will be just as good.

Maybe a female version of Erlich bachman would be funny. Maybe he could sell the incubator to someone.
I hate that too man, my favorite show and he's gonna be impossible to replace...we'll see! That one episode where Jin Yang and Erlich pitch the phone app for detecting smokers and then Jin Yang fires up a cig to celebrate as he does on special occasions right in front of the would be investors,hahaha Each episode is gold, like a mini comedy movie

Wow what a bummer. This dude is hilarious. Im looking forward to other work.
I plan to DVR his HBO special for sure.
