Communal violence: 300 deaths in 3 years in India

State Minister for Home Affairs Hansraj Ahir has said that about 300 people have died in the last three years in communal violence. He informed the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday. Meanwhile, violence and casualties have happened in two provinces ruled by the ruling BJP.

Of these, 44 were killed in 195 violence, 12 were killed in 91 violence in Rajasthan and eight in 50 cases in Gujarat ruled by Uttar Pradesh. In addition, in West Bengal, 58 people were killed and 230 people were injuredcommunal-violence-in-india-3.jpgIn the year 2016, 863 people were killed and 2,331 others were injured in 703 communal violence in India. In the previous year, in the year 751 communal violence in 97 countries killed 97 people and 2,644 wounded.

In February, the Indian Ministry of Interior said that in Karnataka, Congress-ruled Karnataka happened in 100 incidents of 100 communal violence. It killed 9 people and injured 229 people. In Rajasthan, 12 people were killed and 175 injured in 91 cases in Rajasthan.

In a state ruled state of Madhya Pradesh, nine people were killed and 191 wounded in 60 communal violence. In the Bihar-ruled JD-U-Bihar-ruled Bihar, 85 people were killed and 321 others were injured.
