Turkey attacks on Syrian government forces
Turkey's fighter has launched a massive attack on the government forces in the Afrin region in the northeast of Syria. At least 36 Syrian soldiers have been killed. According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, observer agencies, the New York Times reported. It is said in the news that the Kurdish militia forces arrived in Afrin last week with the help of the Waipi, and the loyal forces of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad Turkey and the country's allied Syrian rebel forces began operations on Kurdish Waipi forces since January.
A camp in Kafir Jinnah area was targeted by Turkish air strikes. During this 48 hours, the Turkish air force attacked Syria's government forces three times.
Kurdish-led and United States-backed Syrian Democratic Forces said in a statement that Turkey has been targeted by the Syrian army's control. In the statement that the attack was going from 5am to 10am, it was also said.
Turkish Prime Minister Binli Eldirim said that his country's forces took Rajo city from the hands of the militants. The Syrian Observatory said that 70 percent of the city is now occupying Turkey's army. Rajo is 16 miles northwest of the city of Afrin. Syrian Democratic Forces said in a statement that a group of Turkish and Allied Syrian rebels entered the city of Razo. There the conflict continues.
Note that Turkey is considered as part of the Kurdistan Workers Party by the YPG forces. The Kurdistan Workers Party has been rebelling against Turkey for three decades. The United States, European Union and Turkey consider this force as a terrorist group. However, the United States does not think that the WiPG forces are part of the Kurdistan Workers Party. Even the Islamic State has been voted America's key ally in the fight against the militants.
