Sadly I really believe it is going to get worse. Maybe even 4th Reich worse. Everybody is talking smack about the toad, with every new scandal it's "oh this will take him down". 24 hours later new scandal and nothing changes ...I have lost all hope, it is more than depressing :(
If it helps, thousands of people descended on DC to protest. Even more protested around the country in defiance to this insanity
not sure how I feel about protests these days ...on the one hand it documents opposition but outside of it I feel it has sort of lost it's bite. After Occupy Wall Street was destroyed from within by infiltration and a few huge Egos it seems to me that a lot of the classical political approaches no longer work ...something died that day ... at least is seems so for me ... but let's hope something comes of this all because it just leaves me hollow and disgusted ...
Welcome to the World of NeoLiberalism and Capitalist Realism, where it plays games even on the most touchiest of subjects and had predetermined who won each match. The only way for change is to not hope for anything, to expect that the new scandal made will result in the best possible outcome for NeoLiberalism and still resist that outcome by demanding the impossible. A demand, the change, that shalln’t benefit NeoLiberalism and rather destroy a piece of it when it looses a guaranteed victory. For courage comes not from hope of the best world but the hopelessness of the worst world. To question what’s the point of living in hopeless conditions and incite a struggle is courage - and already we do live in hopeless conditions, it’s time to stop hoping and start acting out our wishes and desires. For I had lost hope long ago, but I still have the courage to live on and struggle on.
Life without hope is not life at all ..it's vegetating ...
