The presidential election was held on Sunday in Paraguay. In this election, the country's conservative party, Colorado candidate Mario Abdo Benitez won. Paraguay's chief election officer, Jaim Bastard, confirmed the information.
Jaim Bastard said that Mario Ado was elected president of Benitez Republic.
After calculating 96 percent of the vote, he announced this.
It is known that Mario Abdo Benítez, son of a senior colleague of Paraguay's late dictator. He won 46.49 percent of the votes in the election.
Meanwhile, Benitez's closest rival, Affrayin Alegry, received 42.7 percent of the vote. He got more votes than he thought.
