Sean Connery: Harrison Ford pays tribute to his Indiana Jones father and 'dear friend'
Harrison Ford has recalled his hair-raising Indiana Jones scenes with his "father" Sir Sean Connery in a touching tribute to his "dear friend".
The two actors teamed up for Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade, the third film in the series, which saw Sir Sean taking on the role of Indy's dad, Professor Henry Jones, in 1989.
Ford, 78, paid tribute in a statement following the Scottish actor's death at the weekend, aged 90.
He was my father... not in life... but in Indy 3," he said.
"You don't know pleasure until someone pays you to take Sean Connery for a ride in the sidecar of a Russian motorcycle bouncing along a bumpy, twisty mountain trail and getting to watch him squirm.
"God, we had fun - if he's in heaven, I hope they have golf courses.
"Rest in peace, dear friend."
