Facebook explains it's fake news policy quite bluntly.
I may not agree with The Young Turks on certain issues, but in this latest video, they're opinions are somewhat justified although like all mainstream reporters on air or online, they're quick to turn over a new leaf; if you will, regarding the issues that they present to the public.
Anyways, they explain Facebook's policy of it's fake news policy which involves consulting with 3rd party fact checkers or "hired guns" for that matter. It's like the CIA sending assassins to eliminate a target or a group of targets; in this case, independent journalists and alternative media sites. My question for this is do they really expect to win over the minds and hearts of their users regarding news consumption from the aforementioned sources? The answer to that of course, is a big fat fucking NO!!

It's really sad that these "people" are fighting a losing battle and not even realizing it.
Although some might digress.
To put it quite simply, this is nothing more than further inplemention of "damage control procedures" aimed at, you guessed it, damage control. Celebrities and their reps do this sometimes regarding a major scandal in their lives; Jennifer Lawrence is a recent example along with weirdo Kanye West if his rants, ravings, and hospitalization is anything to go by.
Facebook is no longer relevant for anything serious. Post Cat pictures and babies and talk about grand kids and puppies. Anything else is in violation of FaceBooks policy.
As long as it's not "fake news", they all happy.
yup..and they define what is fake.
